International Christian Education Association 2010 Convention Preview Praise the Lord, my Sisters and Brothers; Some exciting events will be occurring in Minneapolis for the ICEA constituents. The Reception on Saturday will be hosted by Region III under the leadership of Dr Theresa Foster and staff. The fellowship and activities as always will offer a wonderful foretaste that will |
arouse curiosity and interest for the forthcoming week. Sunday Morning will of course be our Model Sunday School for all ages. The ICEA will be using the new and exciting Apostolic Light Literature. The teachers for each class will be some of the best in Pentecost. Remember, everybody oughto go to Sunday School Monday through Wednesday will be our Summer Institute. There will be a variety of topics that will hopefully meet the needs of all. A marvelous session, “The Miracle is in your mouth,” will be facilitated by Suffragan Bishop Robert Evans. A follow-up session on the “Plight of the Black Male” will be facilitated by Suffragan Bishop James Rodges. Sis. Johnnie Brown will teach on, “Godly Grand Parenting” in the Sofer Chair Presentation. Dr. Aletha Cushinberry’s workshop on “Integrity in the Church” will stir up our pure minds. These are just a few of the Holy Ghost inspired workshops that will be available. Evangelist Juliana Stratton our Youth Director and staff have made enormous plans for the Preteen/Teen and College students. All classes will be age appropriate. The ICEA/IPYPU has been partnering with success all activities designed for Monday through Thursday. There will be field trips to various colleges and service projects performed in the community. Please plan to attend and go back to the local Sunday School invigorated to continue Building God’s Kingdom.
